[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Instead of camping, this year I talked the extended family into going down to Rocky Mount Missouri to see the Great American Eclipse that was on August 21st 2017. We got a house through AirBnB on Lake of the Ozarks. We drove for about ten hours each way hoping that we will get to witness first hand a total eclipse that lasted for just over a minute (and that was if it wasn’t cloudy).
In addition to seeing the eclipse, we had a double-decker tritoon with a slide going off the top. Needless to say, we were putting the success of the trip in Mother Nature’s hands. Luck for us we had clear skies for the eclipse and great weather for boating. Below is a link to the album with a TON of pictures.
