Story Time – ZMLS

Story Time

Libby’s attempt to read George Martin’s entire “Song of Ice and Fire” series (well, the first 4 released books, at least) in 14 days was unsuccessful. She got through two and a half of them but had to go to Barnes and Nobel to purchase the last two. While she was there, she got books for the kids too. Hayden got “Goodnight Gorilla” and “Oh My Oh My oh Dinosaurs”. Violet got a quintet of “Fancy Nancy” stories. It just so happened, that Violet also got her new High Five magazine in the mail today too.

Needless to say, everyone was reading tonight. Hayden read the dinosaur book once and Goodnight Gorilla three times with Libby. He liked that he could say goodnight to all of the animals and the icing on the cake was the mouse at the end of each page. I read High Five and all of the Fancy Nancy books with Violet. Once the kids went to bed, Libby finished one of her books and I stuck my nose in my capital budgeting book. I think I got the short straw on this one.
