Hayden came home from school yesterday and started grabbing paper and tape out of the art supplies. He was keeping to himself so Libby and I continued to make dinner. He soon came running into the kitchen an grabbed a chair to bring over to the sink. What he had made was a boat. He made it out of paper and tape but made sure to cover all of the paper in tape so it wouldn't get wet. After putting water in the sink it was time for the maiden voyage. The boat floated when placed in the water. I think Hayden might have a career as a mechanical engineer in his future!
