Evenings can be rough

“I’m so mad at you, mommy! I’m so mad at you I want to throw you out of the house!” – Violet @ 8:10pm

I was in the process of getting ready to put her to bed, but she wasn’t ready. She wanted to play ONE MORE GAME, but I’m a stickler for schedules and bedtimes. Mike ended up carrying her up the stairs and she just fumed. When she said that, I had to leave the room to keep from laughing at her. Mike’s a lot better at keeping a straight face when she says things like that… It’s hard to be the ‘bad guy’ sometimes!

Luckily, she cooled off enough to still tell me goodnight before she fell asleep. That’s a plus.
