A Good Day

I’m a little behind on my posting duties. I carry my phone around taking pictures and videos of the kids with the intent to write all about the hilarious and adorable things they do. Mike has been a lot better at it than me. I’m going to do my best to recap some of my favorites: starting with today.

This morning we all went to Ramona Park. It was really nice because there were hardly any people there, and we got a nice parking spot close in the shade. As we were getting out, Violet heard the music, and she is like me: she cannot help but dance when she hears music. I had my camera handy and got a great video of her dancing. Too bad you can’t hear any music, but use your imagination – there really is music.

After the park, we all went out to lunch at what used to be a Stir Max (I cannot remember what it is called now) but it is a Chinese buffet. All Violet remembered about it is all of the desserts. They ate really well and fell right asleep when we got home. After they woke up and had snack, we all came outside and the kids and  Mike jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler.

I love their conversations:
Violet: I love my life.
Mike: Why do you love your life?
Violet: Because i went to macdonalds one day!
Mike: Is that the only reason why?
Violet: No, because i like everything in my whole life. Just everything. Except for naughty spots.

I love summer.
