Tonight we decided to eat outside since it was 80 with a slight breeze. As can be expected, the kids were relatively loud. As it turns out, they were loud enough to attract the attention of our neighbor’s daughter who is friends with Violet and Hayden. After dinner, I was getting the kids ready to go to the park. As we were going, the mom and daughter (the one who heard our kids) were on their way over to see if Violet and Hayden could play.
Since we were going to the park, the neighbors decided to come along too. Once we were at the park, they played on the playground equipment and went down the slide. The cool thing about the slide was that there were bugs at the end that they all played with.
Once playing with bugs got boring, everyone played hide and seek as well as tag. Below is a picture of Hayden being it.
We are still working on the concept of tag with Hayden…
