Bashing Fruit

Yesterday I went shopping with Hayden at Meijer while Libby mowed and Violet played with her new birthday presents.  As I was picking out mangos Hayden was looking at the passion fruit.  He asked what it was and I told him and then he proclaimed in a very loud and excited voice “WE NEED TO GET THESE!!!” I asked him why and he said “I love Bashing Fruit!”  He then started to pump his fists in the air.

When I told him that these were called passion fruit instead of bashing fruit he asked what passion was.  When I told him he quickly lost interest with the passion fruit.
