So first off, we survived Hayden’s birthday party at Jungle Joe’s today. Everyone had a good time. Especially mom and dad after when we just walked away from the mess! Pictures to come soon…
Now on to the question…
One of the things they did at the party was have Hayden give answers to questions and his friends had to guess the answers. One of the questions was “Who is the one person Hayden would take with him to an desert island?”
Each of the kids answered and most of them guessed that Hayden would choose whichever kid was picked. After several unsuccessful guesses the party host provided the kids with a clue. The clue was that the person Haysen chose was older. At that point I knew who Hayden would choose. With that hint Violet answered and chose correctly. The answer to Hayden’s question was Grandma Paula.
Taken back by this, on the ride home I asked him why he chose grandma Paula and he said that is was because “she would let me get into trouble like eating candy”. We told him there would probably not be candy on the island and he then said “she would let me break into coconuts”.
That is why I was not chosen…
