The other night, Mike had an evening committee meeting, so I had the privilege of putting both kids to bed. It was a great night, but they were absolutely so tired that Hayden promptly fell asleep on Violet’s floor.
When Mike got home, he and I each did some work in front of the fireplace. After a bit, we heard someone walking around upstairs. We wrapped up our projects and headed upstairs to see what was going on. We walked down to Violet’s room and found that Hayden had climbed into bed with Violet and they were both sound asleep.
