Post-Halloween Dentist

Today, Violet had a dentist appointment. She absolutely loves going to the dentist. Today, was a special dentist day. Her hygienist, Deb, showed me that her two bottom front teeth are loose! She’s probably going to lose them over the next couple months, and most likely both of them prior to her next dentist appointment!  Violet was/is a little nervous, but I think she’s excited to lose her teeth. We haven’t talked about the tooth-fairy yet, so I’m sure Mike and I will have to have that conversation sooner than later. Additionally, she already is starting to get her 6-year molars. Since she is so advanced, she’s scheduled to get full x-rays at her next appointment!

After such a great appointment, Violet and I went out to breakfast: Bob Evans (down on the farm!). She ate all of her breakfast. Amazingly. She ordered a Little Farmers Breakfast, but instead of potatoes, she ordered extra pancakes, and an extra egg (so that equates to two eggs, and four small-ish pancakes). When her food arrived, there was a piece of bacon instead of sausage, so she ordered sausage too. The waitress brought 3 sausages. I was going to eat her bacon, but she said she “needed” the bacon too. I did end up taking one of her sausages, however. She finished everything else.

It was a fun morning, and it’s always hard to head to work after spending time with the kids.
